Consultation & Assessment
We start with a conversation about your riding, how often you ride, what kind of riding you do, what's uncomfortable, and what you want to achieve. This isn't a formal interview, it's just a chat so I understand your needs.
I'll watch you ride on a turbo trainer, looking at your position, movement patterns, and any obvious issues. Adjustments
Based on what I see and what you've told me, we'll adjust:
- Cleat position if you use clipless pedals
- Saddle height
- Saddle tilt
- Stem length
- Handlebar width
- Handlebar heightEach adjustment is tested and refined based on your feedback. We work together to find what feels right. You'll leave with:
- Bike measurements and all your recommended changes
- Explanation of what was changed and why
- Guidance on what to expect in your first few rides.Who this is for:
✓ New cyclists
✓ Riders experiencing discomfort or pain
✓ People who got a bike but it doesn't feel quite right
✓ Cyclists who've been "making do" with shop setup
✓ Anyone who wants to ride more comfortablyWho this might NOT be for:
✗ Professional or competitive cyclists needing marginal gains (you probably want a more comprehensive fit)
✗ Riders with complex biomechanical issues needing medical input (I'll refer you appropriately) ✗ Bike purchase consultation. If you're buying a new bike and want help choosing the right size/geometry, that's a different conversation (happy to help, just email me)If you are not sure, please get in touch, if I can’t help, I do have a great list of recommendations I can share with you.
